2022 First-Year Move-In | August 12-13
  • Make your move-in appointment. Beginning June 28, students will make, view, and change their fall move-in appointment in My Housing. To ensure a smooth process for all 3600 first-year residents, we have designed our process carefully, considering a variety of factors such as unloading area capacities and Atlanta traffic. Our move-in appointment schedule is meant to maximize everyone's experience.
    • Friday, August 12: All Glenn and Towers Residents, and limited move-in appointments for all other First-year buildings.
    • Saturday, August 13: Move-in appointments for all First-year buildings (Limited Glenn and Towers appointments).
    • Monday-Saturday, August 15-20: Move-in appointments available for all buildings (appointments open to First-year students on July 10).
      • Students will receive a time-ticket to log-in and select their move-in appointment time. Appointment times are released over-time.
      • It is critical that all students arrive at check-in at the time of their appointment.
      • If you cannot move in during official move-in days or hours, please follow the instructions found on this page.
  • Submit your BuzzCard photo online following these guidelines
  • Connect with your roommate to start the conversation about appliances, vaccination status and more.

A list of which items to bring

As you plan your arrival to Georgia Tech we ask that you limit the items you bring to essentials only. Be mindful and minimal as you pack your belongings to make your move-in experience as smooth as possible. By doing so, you help us encourage the safety of our volunteers and your fellow residents.

Visit the Move-In Items to Bring webpage for information on recommended and prohibited items.
